National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU) recruited former Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee Secretary general,Mr.Kevin Kuo-I Chen, as vice president, starting on Feb. 12th 2019. Mr. Chen received his bachelor degree in law at National Taiwan University, completed his graduate studies at London School of Economics and Political Science,UK, Tulane University, and New York University,USA. Before joining NTSU, he has served as a specialist at Ministry of Transportation and Communications and secretary to the vice Premier, secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, deputy secretary general and secretary general of Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee. Currently, he is the executive board member and Chairman of the finance committee of Olympic Council of Asia. He is a very goal oriented, humble, knowledgeable person; familiar with international sport law and one of few very impactful Taiwanese in international sport field.       

Following the globalization and society trends, NTSU set a goal to cultivate international sport professionals, and experts.  With Vice president Chen on the team, we will keep moving forward, infuse Olympic ideas to University Academia, and fulfill president Chiu’s idea of managing the university “Make NTSU an internationally famous model institute of higher education that nurtures sport professionals”
